BBH Consulting, Incorporated was founded in November 2002 by its owner Barbara J. Hansen. Ms. Hansen is responsible for the corporate management, business development, technical program management, systems design and the overall success of BBH Consulting, Inc. The principal reasons that led Barbara to start her business were: "I desired independence and to be my own boss." "I had an idea, I could not implement into my job at the time." "I always wanted to be in business for myself." "Due to my expertise and knowledge with Air Force Financial, production and material processes, I believed I could provide services to the Federal Government at a cost savings."
Over the past 10 years in business, Ms. Hansen has realized the goals she started with when forming the business. While experiencing limited growth in the initial years, she was able to secure business in her core areas of expertise and establish a solid foundation to support and sustain future growth. Under Ms. Hansen’s leadership, the company has grown from 1 employee to over 170 employees who provide support in the core functional area BBH was founded upon. Currently, while she is still focused on BBH’s “niche” core competencies, Ms. Hansen has successfully grown the business to expand into the logistics, program management, software engineering, aerospace engineering and depot maintenance repair competencies. Barbara firmly believes with the addition of these capabilities, BBH is positioned for even more explosive growth in the near future.
JR Reed - Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President, JR provides leadership, oversight and development of BBH’s corporate posture and goals. JR is responsible for the execution of the company’s growth and performance strategies, as well as for the success of the Senior Executive Staff in their deployment and management of the corporate goals and customer success. Prior to his work for BBH, JR was instrumental in the success and growth of multiple start up and small companies.
Doug Aydelott - Senior Program Manager
As a Senior Program Manager, Doug currently overseers the 309 AMXG material supply and analyst support for the F-22 and F-35 fighters. He has also managed Army, Air Force and Defense Intelligence contracts in Utah, Washington, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and Washington D.C. Doug has over 25 years’ experience developing and directing Government Contracts. He has extensive expertise in program assessment and evaluation to ensure compliance with corporate and federal policy.
Terrie Norman - Site Manager
As Site Operations Manager, Terrie is responsible for leading BBHs daily operations, management of contracts and programs under BBH, including Business Development, Customer Relations, Program Management, and Human Resources. Terrie is the Senior Program Manager for A-10, T-38, and F-16 contracts. Terrie retired from Department of Defense (DoD) Hill Air Force Base after 35 Years of Federal Civil Service, she worked as Logistic Management Specialist in F-16 System Program Office Sustainment Branch responsible for F-16 Common Configuration Implementation Program (CCIP), Acquisition Program Category II for 651 F-16 block 40-52 aircraft avionics, software and structural system, subsystems and depot level repair activation.
Her experience includes weapon system acquisition, gap analysis, organic depot activation, and sustainment programs. Her expertise spans from senior program manager, avionics software/hardware systems equipment specialist, modification manager for F-16 European Participating Air Forces (EPAF) International Programs, F-16 Aircraft Maintenance Depot Planner, and Aircraft Electrician.
Tristan Barnes - Program Manager
As Program Manager, Tristan has managed Services in AMXG, EMXG, and OO-ALC ensuring customer satisfaction. Specializing in Air Force Supply, Material Support, and Air Force Supply Systems his knowledge in these areas directly benefit his customer and their mission. He has acquired significant expertise and knowledge working for BBH supporting the Air Force as a Production Support Technician, Configuration Manager, and Program Analyst. By supporting F-16’s, A-10’s, and C-130’s he brings a wealth of expertise in multiple weapon systems. Tristan has been dedicated to BBH’s success for over 7 years and looks to continue our success. He takes pride in helping BBH employees accomplish their professional goals.
Mandi McCrillis - Human Resource Manager
Mandi McCrillis serves as BBH’s Manager of Human Resources. Her main responsibilities include recruitment and staffing, benefit management, policy and procedure implementation, employee relations and HR law. Mandi has been with BBH for over 4 years, serving in multiple roles as part of the corporate staff.
Andrew Wolthuis - FSO/Contract Manager
As the Facility Security Officer, Andrew oversees development, compliance, and administration of security procedures for classified and proprietary information. As a Contract Administrator, he assists in preparing solicitations for government proposals and oversees contract mandates to ensure each party fulfills their obligations. Andrew also serves in the role of proposal coordinator and administrator. Andrew has taken it upon himself to become the corporate security expert by joining the national security organization NCMS. He is actively engaged in expanding his knowledge concerning contract management.
